Design Engineer

• Produce detailed designs for below-ground drainage systems
• Prepare drainage strategies, technical notes, and supporting documents for planning submissions.
• Use design tools such as MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD to produce models, calculations, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority approval processes, Sewers for Adoption, Building Regulations, etc
• Coordinate with internal teams-structures, transport, environmental-as well as external consultants and contractors.
• Assist with site assessments, feasibility work, and technical problem-solving.
• Contribute to project delivery, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Experience in drainage/infrastructure design within a consultancy environment.
• Proficient with drainage modelling and CAD software.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team.
