DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join a leading defence company in Bristol. This is a 6-month contract role requiring DV security clearance.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work across the full software development life cycle, ensuring high-quality, secure, and efficient software releases. You will collaborate closely with teams, mentor junior staff, and implement process improvements to enhance both technology and user experience., * Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.

• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Deploy fixes, upgrades, and updates as required.
• Ensure software security and protect against vulnerabilities.
• Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve usability.
• Recommend workflow enhancements to increase efficiency.
• Suggest innovative project ideas based on technological trends and market gaps.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience across all stages of the software product life cycle.
• Proficient with a range of automation tools.
• Strong understanding of software security practices.
• Hands-on experience with multiple programming language
