Job description

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement secure, high-performance, and scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS. You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment., * Design and implement cloud solutions on Azure or AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance.

Architect and deploy high-performance cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
Implement event-driven architectures and integrate with Kafka for real-time data processing.
Develop cloud-native applications and cloud functions using Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), or similar languages.
Ensure security best practices across all layers, including compliance with OWASP guidelines.
Optimize architectures for scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
Work with Redis for caching and high-speed data access.
Build and consume GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Implement automation and testing frameworks for CI/CD pipelines.
Leverage AI tools and frameworks to optimize development workflows, automate tasks, and enhance cloud solution capabilities.

Requirements

Language: Proficiency in Dutch and English (French is considered an asset).
Strong experience in cloud solution design on Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of security principles, compliance frameworks, and high-availability architectures.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, Kafka, and Redis.
Experience with backend development using Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), or similar technologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript (React, TypeScript) for front-end development.
Experience with GraphQL, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Understanding of AI concepts and ability to integrate AI-driven features and tools into cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge of automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have :

Familiarity with OWASP security principles, SAML, and OAuth 2.0.
Knowledge of native mobile app development (iOS/Android).
Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-native architectures.
