Job description
- You are responsible for the design, implementation, and further development of the IT and OT security strategy.
- You cooperate on operational security-related issues, including log analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, and coordination of penetration tests.
- You establish and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across both IT and OT environments.
- You implement and support security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM, and OT monitoring solutions.
- You conduct and support audits in accordance with ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and KRITIS requirements.
- You perform risk analyses and derive appropriate protective measures against cyber threats.
- You work closely with IT, OT, production, and external service providers.
- You advise management on risks, compliance requirements, and investments in the security landscape.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Identity & access management?, * You hold a degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in IT and/or OT security, ideally within an industrial environment.
- You demonstrate a hands-on mentality and the ability to operate security tools independently.
- You bring experience in network security for both office and production environments, including firewalls, endpoint security, identity management, and ideally security solutions in OT environments (e.g. SCADA, ICS).
- You possess knowledge of relevant security standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, KRITIS, and IEC 62443, as well as familiarity with common tools.
- You think analytically, communicate effectively, and convey complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
- You perform your duties with due care, confidentiality, and in accordance with internal guidelines and applicable laws.
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
