Network Engineer (Getafe, Madrid)

At Alvea Soluciones Tecnológicas, we are looking for a Cloud Transformation & Network Architect to join a long-term project based in Getafe (Madrid). The selected professional will be responsible for network operations and administration, playing a key role across LAN/WLAN environments, security, and advanced network technologies. Main Responsibilities - Network operations and administration: LAN Switching, Wireless LAN, Routing (WAN) and Load Balancing. - Management and configuration of Network Access Control (NAC, 802.1x). - Administration of DDI/DNS/DHCP services. - Management of AAA authentication (RADIUS, TACACS+, etc.). - Working with technologies and vendors such as Cisco (primarily), Fortigate, BlueCoat, EfficientIP, Cisco ISE, CheckPoint. RERQUIREMENTS: - Solid experience in Network Operations & Security Operations. - Strong knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, and WLAN. - English level B2. - Availability for 100% on-site work in Getafe. NICE TO HAVE: - Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or others from Cisco, Juniper, CheckPoint, Fortigate, etc. - Experience with Software-Defined Networks (SDN): Cisco ACI or other vendors. - Scripting and automation skills: Ansible, Shell, Python, etc. CONDITIONS: - Work modality: 100% on-site. - Location: Getafe, Madrid. - Salary range: Competitive. - Schedule: Flexible.
