Java Application Server Engineer

• Maintain the operational condition of J2EE hosting platforms (Supervision, Availability, Resilience - BCP & DRP)
• Deploy and operate JEE application servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar) and web servers (Apache)
• Integrate, test, and validate operating procedures
• Implement and execute the Patch Management policy and handle obsolescence of Web & Application Servers
• Automate repetitive tasks using SHELL, Ansible, Jenkins
• Perform JVM sizing and capacity planning
• Provide support for hosted applications: performance analysis, error diagnosis, and tuning
• Assist in project implementation and contribute to the definition of standard JEE technical components

Do you have experience in UNIX?, Language -Fluent French & Technical English

Years of Relevant Experience- 10+ years, * Extensive experience in production environments with JBOSS, Tomcat, FatJar

• SHELL scripting, Ansible, Jenkins
• Patch Management and obsolescence handling
• Operating procedure validation
• Supervision and log analysis (must be able to read and interpret logs)

Appreciated Skills

• Agile Scrum methodology
• Development knowledge: Unix Shell, Perl, PHP, Python, Git, GitHub
• JIRA
• SSL
• ZABBIX
• Familiarity with Apache ecosystem and application relaunch processes
