Job description

Natilik is seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer to join our team in supporting and optimising a variety of complex enterprise firewall estates. This is a mid-level to senior, hands-on technical role involving operational support, troubleshooting, incident response, and collaborating with our wider Network Security team., * Manage, support, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall environments across multi-site networks.

  • Maintain and optimise firewall policies, routing, clustering, and performance.
  • Support incident response, monitoring, alerting, and security event analysis.
  • Produce clear documentation, reports, and configuration records.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, architecture enhancements, and best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN?, * 5+ years experiences working on Checkpoint firewalls in large/complex environments (e.g., MDSM, VSX, SmartConsole, Maestro, gateway appliances)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across firewalls, VPNs, security policies, and network connectivity.
  • Comfortable operating under pressure during major incidents or high-urgency situations.
  • Familiarity with Security monitoring tools, and operational service processes.
  • CCSA or CCSE Certified

Nice to have:

  • Palo Alto Networks (e.g., NGFW, Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager)
  • Cisco security platforms (e.g., ASA, Firepower, FTD/FMC)
  • Experience/exposure to AlgoSec
  • PCNSE OR CCNP Certified
