Job description
- Produce and review security architecture artefacts (HLD/LLD)
- Lead assurance of cloud and on-prem security solutions
- Provide clear, actionable cyber security guidance
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling (MITRE, STRIDE, DREAD, PASTA)
- Ensure solutions align with UK Government security frameworks
- Support design governance and supplier assurance
- Maintain reference architectures, controls, and security standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in IDS?, * Proven background as a Security Architect in UK public-sector environments
- Active SC clearance (mandatory)
- Strong AWS cloud-security expertise (Azure beneficial)
- Experience across Secure by Design, risk mitigation & resilient architecture
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to mixed stakeholders
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, vulnerability tooling, etc.
