Job description
The team is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Remote) to maintain and optimise core systems, support cloud and on-prem environments, and contribute to continuous service improvement. This role will involve troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing upgrades, and ensuring service reliability for key clients., * Deliver BAU support and maintenance across customer environments.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives alongside other engineers and Technical Leads.
- Assist with solution development based on designs and documentation provided by Technical Leads, Architects, and Delivery Managers.
- Actively maintain and work towards technical certifications in relevant Microsoft products.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
- Follow change control processes and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
Requirements
Skills/Must have:
- Windows Server (including Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP)
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - AZ-900 required, AZ-104 desirable; other Microsoft certifications a bonus.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- PKI, Exchange, and related Microsoft infrastructure components.
- Exposure to scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Puppet, Docker, or equivalent).
- SC Clearable
