Job description
You will work in a dedicated team and in close coordination with the department management., * Coordination and conception of the adaptations of the open source software required by EUREKA
- Further development and adaptation of the apps previously developed under the Okapi framework by the German community (in coordination with the FOLIO community)
- Further development of international open source software, development of apps
Requirements
- Completed scientific university degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Experience in the administration and configuration of applications
- Good knowledge of Java, Python or similar languages
- Good knowledge of databases (preferably in PostgreSQL)
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
- You have experience of working in a team, in an interdisciplinary environment and with external customers and other service providers
- Very good knowledge of German and English

The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date. It is initially limited to three years. An extension will be sought. The position is divisible.

The BSZ provides IT-supported services for academic libraries, museums and archives, particularly in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and Saarland. The BSZ folio project, which is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science and the Arts, will initially involve the migration of selected pilot libraries. This will be followed by a state-wide roll-out at the university libraries in Baden-Württemberg.
