Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager responsible for software excellence and quality to lead initiatives that promote high-quality software development practices across the organization with a particular focus on leveraging AI and Agentic AI to enhance productivity, quality, and innovation. This role will manage a hybrid team of external and internal software professionals and collaborate with internal digital product teams to define, implement, and continuously improve standards, processes, and tools that drive software excellence., * Lead & Coordinate Teams - Manage external software engineers and consultants, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivery standards.

  • Bridge Collaboration - Act as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams for smooth knowledge transfer and cooperation.
  • Drive Software Excellence - Define and implement best practices, standards, and frameworks for development, testing, and delivery.
  • Champion Modern Practices - Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and AI-driven tools (coding assistants, automated testing bots, intelligent pipelines).
  • Continuous Improvement - Assess processes regularly, introduce automation, metrics, and tools to enhance code quality and delivery efficiency.
  • Governance & Reporting - Develop KPIs, ensure compliance with standards and security policies, and report progress to leadership.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership and a passion for fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement., * Proven Leadership - 7+ years in software engineering or development leadership, with experience managing cross-functional/external teams.

  • Technical Expertise - Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern programming languages.
  • Tool Proficiency - Familiarity with testing frameworks, quality tools (SonarQube, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Process Innovator - Track record of implementing best practices and driving process improvements in complex organizations.
  • Soft Skills - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to influence cultural change.
  • Strategic Mindset - Hands-on problem solver with a vision for embedding excellence and accountability across teams.
