Requirements

We're looking for an IoT Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in engineering firms, tech consulting, telco, or similar industries to join our IoT team at GALEO., * At least 4 years of experience in IT/OT environments within industrial settings.

  • Experience with Python; PySpark is a plus.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS.
  • Experience designing and optimizing ETL processes and managing Data Lakes.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the IoT stack from major hyperscalers (AWS and/or Azure) and technologies like IoT Core, IoT Greengrass, IoT Hub.
  • Strong teamwork attitude and direct client interaction.

  • Develop components and artifacts that enable the connection of physical devices to IoT services for ingestion, analytics, and more.
  • Build data and IoT platforms for data capture and processing.
  • Develop APIs to make data available for business needs and other platforms or processes.
  • Collaborate in the design of IoT architectures that provide solid technical solutions for clients.
  • Provision, configure and deploy managed services in public clouds such as AWS and Azure.
  • Develop proofs of concept (PoCs) and technical demos to validate final solutions.
