Job description

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist who will play a key role in safeguarding our organisation's digital assets and supporting our Security Engineering Manager in day-to-day security operations.

  • To provide support to the Security Engineering Manager with the day-to-day security operations.
  • Perform regular security checks and internal audits.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Member of IASME Cyber Incident Response Team.
  • Review security policies and help users achieve it through internal training and advice.
  • Prepare for security certifications and external testing including IASME's Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
  • Assist development team with security recommendations in line with secure by design and perform security audits as required through the development process.
  • Carry out administrative tasks on IASME's security tools.
  • Carry out security reviews on new suppliers, applications and suppliers in line with IASME change control procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties as from time to time may be required by the Company.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, * Good Cyber Security knowledge.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Security and other security tools.
  • Willingness to develop and keep up to date with the latest security principles, techniques and protocols.
  • Familiar with network and web related technologies and attack methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and work under own initiative.
  • Good communication including strong written and oral skills.
