Job description
This organisation creates insurance products that support the transition to a low-carbon economy. The team is small, fast-moving and focused on modernising a traditionally slow sector. They use a flexible, developer-centred policy administration platform and are building services that integrate with partners, data providers and underwriting workflows.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain the systems behind carbon-focused insurance products.
- Own the policy administration platform and its integrations.
- Develop partner and provider integrations.
- Shape technical architecture and data foundations.
- Work closely with product, underwriting and customer teams.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience across multiple technologies.
- Experience in early-stage tech and comfort with rapid iteration.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across climate, tech and insurance.
- Must have Insurtech OR Climate / Carbon background
- Experience with Java
- Interest in climate action and carbon-reduction science.
