We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's fast-paced, highly collaborative tech team. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional engineering squads and report directly to the Head of Engineering. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a critical part in shaping how the organisation builds, releases, monitors, and scales its cloud-based products. Your day-to-day will involve working on CI/CD pipelines, maintaining Azure environments, supporting development teams, and driving DevOps best practice across the business. This role is integral to the stability and scalability of our platform, making the Senior DevOps Engineer a central figure in delivering reliable, high-quality software. The Opportunity
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll help steer the DevOps strategy and be deeply involved in modernising the company's platform and tooling. This role stands out in the tech sector because it offers true ownership of DevOps standards across the entire software lifecycle, working in a Lean engineering environment with high autonomy and visibility.
You will:
- Help define DevOps strategy, processes, and engineering standards
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines from code to production
- Manage, monitor, and support cloud production environments, ensuring top-tier reliability
- Work within a cross-functional Lean team responsible for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure
- Continuously improve build, integration, testing, and deployment tooling
- Coach development teams to implement DevOps best practices
- Use observability metrics to improve the health and stability of software systems

Requirements
- 4+ years' experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Configuration Management tools)
- Experience using Azure DevOps Services for CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Git and Git workflows
- Proficiency in both Linux and Windows
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerisation
