Job description

  • Take ownership of and lead UX projects, creating clarity where there is ambiguity
  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders across the business, particularly the CRO team, to ensure effective alignment throughout the UX process
  • Apply a variety of UX methods appropriate to each project, from discovery research to prototyping and usability testing
  • Design and optimise intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless navigation and consistent user experience.
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform and validate design decisions
  • Create detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs across web and app platforms
  • Plan and conduct usability studies, synthesising findings into clear recommendations
  • Promote accessibility and design standards to ensure consistency across all Nutrition brand experiences
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of THG's design systems and UX best practice
  • Present and explain design solutions to teams and senior stakeholders
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with UX colleagues across THG

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and familiarity with design systems workflows
  • Experience using research and testing tools such as UserZoom or Playbook UX
  • A knowledge of working with Component libraries and Design systems would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in designing mobile applications, with a strong understanding of platform-specific guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design).
  • Confident analysing data using Google Analytics, ContentSquare, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable working within agile environments and using tools such as Jira, FigJam, and Confluence

About the Nutrition Squad and the Role Our Nutrition UX team consists of cross-functional squads spanning UX Design, UX Research, Accessibility, CRO, Engineering, and Delivery. We partner with stakeholders across THG to create design solutions for THG-owned Nutrition brands, supporting our mission to deliver impactful, scalable, and human-centred digital experiences. We are involved in every stage of the UX process, from discovery and research through to design, testing, and optimisation, combining insights and innovation to improve platform capabilities, user journeys, and conversion performance. We are looking for a talented Mid-level UX Designer to join our growing Nutrition UX team, a group of passionate digital specialists dedicated to improving user experiences across our global nutrition portfolio. You will play a key role in developing best-in-class UX solutions that support business growth, enhance customer engagement and shape the future of our digital experiences across both e-commerce and mobile app platforms. Working within our Nutrition squad, you will collaborate closely with UX Research, CRO, and Engineering teams to design data-informed, user-centred solutions that make a genuine impact on our customers' digital journeys.
