Job description

We are looking for a highly organised, technically skilled, and proactive Product Web & Database Owner. You will be the central point of ownership for our product database and web merchandising: managing product data integrity, publishing stock information online, coordinating with internal teams (sales, warehouse, purchasing), and ensuring our web presence (on Shopify, potentially other channels) reflects real-time inventory and product detail., * Maintain and manage the internal product database (master data), ensuring all product information is accurate and up to date - descriptions, dimensions, SKUs, stock levels, pricing, images, etc.

  • Publish and update product listings to the website (e.g. Shopify) and any other online platforms used.
  • Monitor stock levels, liaise regularly with warehouse/purchasing teams to keep the web catalogue in sync with actual inventory (what's in stock, what's out, expected restocks).
  • Manage merchandising: organise product categories, ensure correct presentation online (images, descriptions, categorisation), and optimise product visibility.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, purchasing, warehouse, marketing) to coordinate product launches, stock updates, and ensure data consistency.
  • Use Excel (and/or other tools) to generate reports and data exports: e.g. stock reports, sales vs availability, reorder suggestions, catalogue audits.
  • Troubleshoot database and web-data issues; ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality.
  • Assist with continuous improvements - propose process enhancements for data workflows, stock management, web merchandising, or database structure as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with any data governance or quality standards relevant to the business., You will be the "go-to" person for everything related to product data and web catalogue. By owning the data and ensuring it's accurate and up to date, you'll play a vital role in enabling our sales, purchasing, warehouse, and marketing teams to operate efficiently and keep our customers satisfied.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong IT competence, with proven experience working in a database/product-data context.

  • Confident user of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP / PIM systems), with ability to maintain product master data.
  • Experience working with Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms) - publishing product listings, managing web stock, product categories, images, variants, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills, comfortable with large spreadsheets, formulae, filters, data validation, exports/imports.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy - ability to spot inconsistencies, missing data, or potential errors.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills - able to liaise across departments and coordinate effectively.
  • Proactive, self-starter approach; anticipates stock issues and helps prevent out-of-stock or listing problems.
  • Preferably some knowledge of architectural/industrial products or B2B product data - but not essential if other skills are strong., * Database Management: 3 years (required)
