Job description
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving our cloud and DevOps infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining and automating legacy systems using PowerShell, ARM templates, and Terraform, ensuring reliable and efficient provisioning processes. Your work will include troubleshooting cloud services, applying operational and security measures in line with company guidelines, and continuously monitoring system performance to ensure high availability and resilience. You will design and configure network infrastructure, contribute to Site Reliability Engineering initiatives, and develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment. Additionally, you'll participate in rollout activities and maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation to ensure transparency and consistency across teams. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining robust and secure cloud environments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Must-Have Technical Skills
- Strong background in Terraform, YAML, PowerShell, and ARM templates for infrastructure provisioning and automation
- Experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including App Services, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Routing, and API Management
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and Windows Server administration
- Experience implementing and managing Azure Policies
- Knowledge of scaling strategies, disaster recovery (DR), backup, and restore concepts
- Ability to visualize and document infrastructure effectively
- Hands-on experience with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication protocols
- Experience using Azure Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) as an Identity Provider
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and access management principles
- Basic proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and integration purposes
Good-to-Have Technical Skills
- Experience with Linux (common distributions) in addition to Windows environments
- Working knowledge of SQL Server administration and query writing
- Familiarity with Kusto Query Language (KQL) and Gremlin Query Language (GQL) for monitoring, analytics, and graph database queries
- Experience with Pester for testing PowerShell scripts and infrastructure configurations
- Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) concepts and integrations
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (A/AD) and Managed Identities for secure resource access
- Knowledge of Azure Artifacts for package management and CI/CD integration
- Experience in server configuration and automation using PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC)
