ICT System Engineer / Administrator

Tasks

• Administer backup systems and email services efficiently.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 and IT application management.
• Support project work and cross-functional IT initiatives., (Lead / Representation)

System Operation & Infrastructure

• Administration of the backup system
• Administration of the email system (Microsoft Exchange OnPremise)
• Administration of Microsoft core services and internal IT specialist applications
• Network monitoring
• Resolution of vulnerabilities and errors in IT systems
• Support of other systems and applications

Client Management & Automation

• Packaging and distribution of operating systems, software, updates/patches (with IT endpoint management software and GPO)

Microsoft 365

• Administration of Microsoft 365 in a mostly OnPremise environment

Project Work & Further Development

• Evaluation and implementation of new IT systems
• Project responsibility in the primary area of responsibility
• Collaboration in cross-departmental IT projects

Teamwork & Support

• Supportive activities within the IT team
• 2nd-level support for internal IT requests, * Flat hierarchies, open and direct working atmosphere, clear structures

• Minimum 3 years as a System Engineer in Microsoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft product range.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities., * At least 3 years of professional experience as a system engineer or administrator in the Microsoft environment
• Solid knowledge of Windows server operating systems (Linux is an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of the modern Microsoft product range (M365 apps are an advantage)
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Azure, PowerShell, and scripting in general
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
• Good communication skills and good teamwork ability
• Sense of responsibility combined with high commitment and flexibility, resilient, honest, and loyal
• Willingness to work outside regular working hours
• Fluent in German (written and spoken)
