YOUR TASKS Perform advanced incident management: monitor logs and alerts, investigate and resolve within SLA. Handle escalations from L1/L2 and mentor them to increase first-time resolution. Support integration of information systems and interoperability layers. Conduct deep troubleshooting across applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure. Lead problem management and root cause elimination for recurring or high-impact issues. Develop and deploy hotfixes, workarounds, and permanent fixes. Perform log analysis, memory dumps, performance profiling, stress testing, and bottleneck analysis. Enhance observability, monitoring, and self-healing mechanisms. Oversee production
Requirements
deployments (hotfixes, minor and major releases) with rollback strategies. Automate processes through scripts, utilities, and monitoring solutions. Ensure accurate ticketing and defect management in Jira. Contribute to operational best practices, standards, and guidelines. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Specific expertise (mandatory): 5+ years of proven experience with Production Support tasks (as listed above). 6+ years of Java (JEE 7/8) - competence level 4+. 5+ years of Agile methodologies - competence level 5. 7+ years of REST, SOAP, Jenkins, Maven - competence level 4+. 5+ years of Git - competence level 5. 5+ years of Linux - competence level 5. 5+ years of Jira - competence level 3+. Additional strong knowledge in: Angular 2+ (ideally 18) and testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Protractor). PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, with strong SQL skills. SOA and WebLogic Server, including interoperability (web services, MOM, ESB, event-driven architecture). Integration tools (Jenkins, Sonar). Cloud-native production support: availability, performance, monitoring, incident response, capacity management. Automatic testing frameworks and CI/CD practices. Agile collaboration in complex enterprise environments. EXTRA INFORMATION Contract type: Permanent employment or freelance Start date: ASAP (before the end of the year) Location: Brussels, Belgium (Near Site) Work mode: Reside maximum within 2 hours by car from Brussels, with up to 5 days/month required onsite.
