Job description

We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer for Eurofins's SAM Sensory and Consumer Research (SAM).

Depending on the candidate's profile, this position can be based in any SAM or Eurofins location. Occasional trips may be required (team meetings on Aix-en-Provence and potential deployments).

Your responsibilities:

You will be part of the IT Solution team that is in charge of SAM's business IT applications (SAM's information system, and SAM's Consumer Portal for our global consumer panel, both hosted on MS Azure).

All our activities are subject to demanding security requirements, with an ISO 27001-certified organization currently undergoing ISO 27001:2022 certification.

Working with the existing team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Development & Upgrades

  • Full stack development using .NET 9 / C# and Entity Framework technologies

  • Design, development, and continuous improvement of eSPM features

  • API development and integration

  • Performance optimization and UX improvement

  • Participation in the implementation of best development practices

  • Database & SQL

  • Excellent command of SQL queries

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

  • Analysis, optimization, and correction of data as needed

  • Architecture & Cloud

  • Participation in the evolution of the platform toward modern architectures

  • Knowledge of the Azure environment appreciated (App Services, Functions, etc.)

  • DevOps

  • Use of Azure DevOps

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Code quality monitoring and automation

  • Advanced technical support

  • Analysis and resolution of complex technical incidents

  • Diagnosis of application and data issues

  • Working directly with international business users

Requirements

  • Education & experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in full stack .NET development

  • Very good command of C#, .NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server

  • Knowledge of Azure and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps)

  • UX/UI awareness

  • Good front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Kendo UI would be a plus

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices

  • Awareness of security best practices (data protection, access controls, OWASP guidelines, etc.)

  • Experience in an international environment is a plus

  • Behavioral skills
