Job description

As a Platform Analyst, you will support solution delivery across the Agency by documenting requirements, creating user stories and mock-ups, and bridging communication between business and technical stakeholders. You will actively participate in agile ceremonies to ensure smooth and effective delivery.

Standard role duties & responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the agency's delivery methodology and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support to the Project Management Specialist / Programme Manager in project/programme planning, progress monitoring, and management reporting.
  • Support business design and process improvement within the relevant area.
  • Support, organise, and coordinate the project team to deliver objectives within time, resource, and budget constraints.
  • Assist in monitoring the project budget and ensuring resource plans and forecasts are accurate and up to date.
  • Organise meetings with operational teams, including agendas, logistics, summaries, and minutes.
  • Coordinate and ensure quality compliance for maintenance and end-user support.
  • Assist in monitoring formal acceptance of service deliverables in line with delivery contracts.
  • Prepare project board/steering group communications for governance purposes.
  • Draft and format documents following EMA style guide principles and templates.

Role-specific duties & responsibilities:

  • Support the Platform/Project Manager in planning short- and long-term platform/project roadmaps.
  • Document technical requirements, user stories, knowledge base articles, mock-ups, and wireframes.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of EMA's next-generation data management, collaboration, and analytics platforms.
  • Deliver quick implementations and proof-of-concepts involving advanced analytics and AI.
  • Clarify requirements for delivery teams, supported by Product Owners/Customer Portfolio Analysts.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies to review progress and resolve issues.
  • Act as a liaison with the Data Protection Officer regarding data protection impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (computer scientists, software engineers, scientific staff) to implement complex regulatory requirements and customise applications.
  • Supervise the quality and completeness of deliverables, including user stories and sprints, prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

Interesting and challenging work that brings value to European citizens, * Completed university studies of at least three years, attested by a diploma.

Experience:

  • Up to 3 years of full-time relevant professional experience.
  • Coordinating and organising projects and/or initiatives.
  • Dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analysing and documenting requirements and user stories is highly desirable.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medicine regulatory organisations is beneficial.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge and practice of frameworks (at least one year).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and release management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
