Job description
We're looking for a Product Owner to join us in building the future of digital payments. You'll translate vision into backlog, ideas into features, and chaos into clarity. Working closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and our external partners, you'll shape products from discovery through delivery and make sure what we ship is valuable, usable, and reliable.
If you're organised, curious, technical enough to talk APIs, and passionate about solving real problems…we'd love to hear from you.
The opportunity
You'll sit at the centre of our product teams connecting business goals, customer needs, and technical implementation. This role isn't just about backlog grooming. It's about owning the why, the what, and the when and being a calm, strategic force in the fast-paced world of product delivery.
Each product touches millions of users and is built to scale so quality, speed, and stakeholder alignment are key.
What you'll do
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog, shaping user stories and epics based on stakeholder input
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, scalable features
- Own the sprint process. Run planning, stand-ups, demos, retros, and more
- Translate product vision into tangible roadmaps, ensuring alignment across teams
- Work closely with customers, partners, and service providers to gather feedback and guide product evolution
- Coordinate release planning, write release notes, and communicate changes to internal and external audiences
- Draft and maintain API specifications in collaboration with developers
- Answer technical questions, investigate bugs, and help triage complex requests
- Ensure team documentation, standards, and ISO/security policies are up to date
- Act as the point of contact during technical implementations with partners or clients
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, You're a natural translator. You can switch between technical deep dives and high-level stakeholder conversations with ease. You care about outcomes, not just output and you get energy from bringing clarity to complexity.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Business vision to execution and business value articulation
- Proven experience aligning business and technology teams
- Strong analytical and logical thinking. You ask great questions and see the big picture

- Confidence working with APIs, infrastructure teams, and technical specifications
- Experience managing backlog, sprints, and team ceremonies in cross-functional teams
- Clear communication in English (both verbal and written)
- A proactive, curious mindset. You take initiative and thrive in ambiguity
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Informatics, Information Science, Engineering)
Bonus points
- Experience working on data-driven, SaaS, or fintech products
- Background in Business Analysis, Technical Implementation, or Developer Collaboration
- Familiarity with Lean Startup, experimentation, and continuous discovery
- Knowledge of ISO, security, and compliance frameworks in a B2B setting
- Previous experience in payment systems, banking, or open banking
