Job description

As a Product Support Engineer, you'll form the second line of our support organization. You'll take ownership of complex technical cases that first-line support cannot resolve and dive deep into the software, electronics, and mechanics of our agricultural robots to identify and permanently eliminate root causes.

You'll perform diagnostics, test solutions in our lab environment, and collaborate closely with engineers and R&D to analyze, report, and validate fixes. The knowledge you gain will be turned into clear internal documentation and manuals, helping colleagues act faster and more efficiently.

You'll also train support and service teams, enabling them to solve more issues independently, and provide structured feedback to product management to drive continuous improvement. In addition, you'll support the introduction of new products by preparing the support organization with the right tools, training, and documentation.

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent through experience).

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in technical service, system diagnostics, or support-preferably in robotics, machinery, or agricultural technology.
  • Speak and understand Dutch and English
  • Can analyze problems across multiple disciplines - mechanical, electrical, and software.
  • Have knowledge of or affinity with embedded systems, sensors, hydraulics, CAN bus, GPS/GNSS, and telematics.
  • Are a strong communicator who can clearly translate technical details for colleagues and customers.
  • Work structured and accurately, with an eye for documentation and continuous improvement., Not 100% sure you meet all the requirements? No problem. At cropr, we value people who like to build, test, and improve - experience is great, but motivation matters just as much.

  • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge agricultural robots and precision farming systems.
  • Close collaboration with engineers, R&D, and field teams.

  • 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time), with the option to purchase additional days.
