Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is a fully remote role within the UK, suited for professionals with 1 to 10 years of hands-on DevOps and cloud engineering experience. You will play a key part in building, automating, and optimising our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across our platforms., * Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Support containerisation and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure cloud environments follow best practices in cost optimisation, reliability, and security.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Required:
- 1-10 years of experience in Cloud or DevOps engineering or related.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Proficiency in Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and cloud security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
