They're looking for a Senior Developer with strong TypeScript skills who enjoys being hands-on, shaping engineering standards and supporting junior devs as they grow. Clear communication matters here you'll be someone who can break down complex ideas and bring the team with you.
Your early work will focus on the major rebuild: moving a Legacy PHP system into a modern TypeScript-based architecture with clean patterns and microservices.
Tech Stack & Experience:
- Must Have/Required: Strong TypeScript experience
- Preferred: Node.js or Angular exposure
- Interest in working with AWS and MongoDB
- Bonus: GitHub, time series data, PHP, MySQL, IoT
The role is mostly remote with occasional visit to Bristol Office (around once a week, flexible). You need to have full right to work in the UK and live within a reasonable distance.
Backend experience for this role is needed! This is a greenfield project offering a unique opportunity to join a smart and cooperative team.
