Job description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Platform Engineer to join our remote engineering team in the UK. This role is open to both freshers and experienced professionals with up to 12 years of experience. As a Platform Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure and platforms that support our applications and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency., * Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and platform services to support development and production workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring security, uptime, and performance.
- Monitor infrastructure using modern observability tools and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to optimize deployment processes.
- Implement best practices for system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture, processes, and changes.
- Support containerization and orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contribute to automation initiatives using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Basic understanding of cloud platforms and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Awareness of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and monitoring basics.
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.
- Hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, automation, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
- Skilled in scripting/programming for automation (Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with reliability engineering, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Ability to architect scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
- Experience working in agile and collaborative engineering environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality engineering.
