Your Tasks

• You will strengthen our Windows team in operations and lead small projects.
• You ensure the operation of our virtual Windows server landscape and its operating platforms and further develop them.
• You are familiar with both on-premises and cloud-based solutions and help us evaluate the situationally optimal platform.
• You help to streamline and automate operations and develop new concepts in system design & architecture.
• Maintaining and continuously optimizing IT security is a mantra for you. You receive support from our highly skilled and experienced cybersecurity team.
• You work in the interdisciplinary project environment of the university, supported by our project managers, as well as all teams within IT services.
• You are curious and open to enterprise-class IT concepts such as AD-tier model, Enterprise access model, Configuration item monitoring, Infrastructure as Code, or containerization.

• Degree in computer science and 5+ years as a System Engineer.
• Strong knowledge in IdM, Active Directory, and PKI.
• Experience in automation with scripts or tools like MECM., * You have a degree in computer science and/or a successfully completed further education (HF/FH) in computer science.
• Ideally, you have over 5 years of professional experience as a system engineer in the Microsoft environment, preferably in the enterprise environment.
• You have solid knowledge in the areas of IdM, Active Directory, Server GPOs, EntraID, AD Connect, PKI, MFA, H4B, MDE, DNS, DHCP, IIS, MSSQL.
• Your working style is characterized by a sense of IT security across all IT topics.
• You can and want to automate repetitive tasks using scripts (PS) or tools (MECM) and appreciate excellent monitoring.
• Additional certifications (MCSE or similar, role-based MS certifications such as "Azure Administrator Associate") are desired.
• Your open & authentic, as well as confident manner, distinguishes you and you convince with independence and initiative.
