Job description
- Define and develop system architectures across electrical, mechanical, software, and electronic domains.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure delivery on performance and quality.
- Guide proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
- Manage subcontractors and support design reviews throughout the project life cycle.
- Create system specifications and documentation to support mission ready solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering
- Many years of experience in space system design and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of MBSE methods (e.g., SysML, Capella) and systems engineering standards (ECSS, INCOSE).
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
