Senior Web Developer - Backend/Fullstack

As a Backend web developer, you will be a key player in shaping the architecture and performance of warmwind. You will design, implement, and optimize the server-side components and databases that power our platform. Your focus will be on ensuring scalability, security, and high availability, allowing our product to grow rapidly and handle increasing user demands. Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL

• Multi-year experience in designing the architecture of web Backends
• Experience in deploying successful Web applications
• Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team and use version control systems
• Mentoring and technical leadership
• Systems understanding and ability to analyse and optimize application performance
• Knowledge of authentication, locking, load balancing, rate limiting, and multi-node communication systems
• Knowledge of secure web design principles
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Initiative and eagerness to learn
• Self-organization and a startup mindset
• Willingness to relocate to Jena, Germany, after an initial onboarding period and work on-site

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, NestJS, Docker, TypeORM and/or GraphQL, Linux
• Experience in interfacing with large language models
• Experience with real-time and distributed systems
• Experience with Windows system and application virtualization
