Job description
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities throughout the whole lifecycle of our technologies - from initial customer requirements to end-of-life disposal. You will work across engineering disciplines to design, test and build top-of-the-line solutions to some of the largest challenges facing the defence sector.
In addition to academic and industrial experience in any technical field (non-engineers are welcome), candidates should also possess excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for turning complex challenges into direct, actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- System support: Assist in the integration of hardware, software and sensors into existing and new uncrewed aerial systems.
- Requirements analysis: Assist in the definition and documentation of system requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure system performance.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, including test protocols and design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the hardware, software, electronics and production teams to assist with system integration.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Degree (Bachelor) in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field (or comparable practical experience).
- Qualifications in other technical fields and disciplines outside of engineering will be strongly considered, if they demonstrate skills detailed above.
- Project or operations management; business development; events management.
- Industry certifications or qualifications in Systems Engineering (e.g. from INCOSE) are a plus.Initial experience in system integration and working with communication protocols (e.g. CAN, Ethernet) is an advantage.
- Strong articulation skills in English (at least CEFR B2) and ideally in German
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, as is a motivation and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
- Experience in at least one of the following technical skillsets: 3D
- CAD; CFD/FEA or similar simulation techniques; Systems modelling and analysis in MATLAB/Simulink/SysML or similar;
- Code development in object-oriented languages (e.g. C, Python, Java, Javascript); Flight or similar vehicle testing.
- Experience in at least one of the following non-technical skillsets: Project or operations management; business development; events management
