Database Administrator (MS-SQL)

• Provide administration and production support for MS-SQL databases across Europe, ensuring stability, resilience and high performance.
• Perform monitoring, capacity management, backup and recovery, performance analysis and general incident/service request resolution.
• Contribute to the design and build of new database and server architectures.
• Offer ad hoc consulting to application teams and participate in change management processes.
• Help maintain high availability environments.
• Actively collaborate with technical peers to improve stability and performance across services.
• Communicate clearly with the management team when required.
• Continuously enhance core skills, develop new ones and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Work following ITIL methodology on a daily basis.

Essential:

• Solid experience in MS-SQL database administration in demanding and high-availability environments.
• Strong background in performance tuning, backup & recovery, monitoring and production support.
• Experience working in international and distributed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication abilities and orientation to teamwork.
• High level of English (minimum B2).

Desirable:

• Experience defining and building new SQL Server architectures.
• Knowledge of capacity management, automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
