Job description

Build and maintain core backend services and APIs for the platform. Work closely with the Lead Backend Engineer to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable backend solutions., * Develop, test, and maintain microservices and APIs using C# and .NET.

Build efficient data access layers and optimized T-SQL queries/stored procedures.
Write unit, functional, and integration tests to ensure reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements

Strong expertise in .NET/C#, including async programming, caching, queuing, logging, XML/JSON, and security.
Advanced SQL Server experience: T-SQL, stored procedures, ACID, normalization, and query optimization.
Experience with ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper) and direct SQL access.
Solid testing background (unit, functional, performance, stress/soak); BDD is a plus.
Strong RESTful API development skills, including API Gateway and authentication.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
Ability to work in Linux and Windows environments.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and serverless patterns.
Microservices development experience.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Chef) is a plus.
