Job description
- Work closely with the CTO and be a key part of our early engineering team.
- Build React + TypeScript features: dashboards, charts, workflows.
- Design and maintain Node.js APIs and services; use Prisma + PostgreSQL; caching with Redis.
- Operate our AWS-based infrastructure via Terraform; set up CI/CD, monitoring & incident response.
- Define performance and security baselines; instrument, profile and optimise.
- Write tests and documentation; engage with our GitHub user & contributor community.
- Collaborate with our science and product teams to ship metrics, evaluations and derive insights from data.
- Thrive in ambiguity, think big & creative while keeping a sharp eye on execution and detail.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer (3+ years of experience) to help us build our online evaluation dashboard. This core product allows AI scientists to dig deep into model behaviour through interactive visualisations. As one of our first hires, you'll have a massive impact, high ownership, and the opportunity to shape product, tech, and customer engagement., * 4+ years professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Front-end: React, TypeScript, experience with data visualisation.
- Back-end: Node.js, Prisma (or equivalent ORM), PostgreSQL; Redis caching.
- Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Terraform, Docker/containerisation, CI/CD pipelines.
- Some familiarity with Python (for data tooling).
- Practices: code reviews, Git, testing, deployments, and observability.
- Clear written and spoken English.
Desirable
- Experience with data-visualisation libraries (e.g., D3.js).
- Microservices architecture, monorepo/turborepo setup.
- Experience in open-source projects or community engagement.
- Comfortable in Scrum/Agile/fast-moving startup environments.
