Job description

You'll play a vital role in building and maintaining the backbone of our client's growing platform. It's varied, technical, and ideal for someone who enjoys working across DevOps, systems engineering, and infrastructure-as-code.

Requirements

  • Languages: Python, Rust, shell scripting
  • Automation: Ansible (preferred), Infrastructure-as-Code practices
  • Monitoring: Grafana, InfluxDB (self-hosted)
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, local custom runners for hardware-based testing
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Mosquitto
  • Environments: Ubuntu Linux, Windows, WSL, on-prem and hybrid systems

About You

You're someone who enjoys taking ownership of infrastructure and enabling great engineering through robust systems.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role
  • Proven experience with Linux system administration and scripting
  • Comfort working across CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments, and monitoring tools
  • A security-first mindset with best practices built into your workflow
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
