Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this role provides IT support to Frettens' staff and is a vital part of the small, high performing IT team, delivering excellent service internally and externally. The role will require travel between our offices so being able to drive and having your own transport is essential.
This is an end user-facing role so the ideal candidate should be friendly and personable with strong communication skills - both written and verbal. You should be passionate about IT and helping to provide great support to our staff.
IT Support Analyst
IT runs through the heart of almost every aspect of the firm. Since moving to a hosted environment in 2020, Frettens continues to go from strength to strength and we are continuing to build on our successes with ongoing growth in IT and some large, exciting IT projects coming in the next year.
You'll be the first point of contact for all IT queries raised internally by Frettens staff. This is an end user-facing role, so a friendly telephone manner and first-class communication skills are essential as we provide mainly face-to-face support. This role will require liaison with internal and external sources throughout the day so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. IT issues requiring escalation are referred on to other members of the IT team or external IT support company. The role will also involve supporting the IT team with ongoing hardware and software projects which can include office moves.
In this role you will provide 1st line support, action changes and assist with queries at administrator level for products including but not limited to:
· Microsoft Office 365
· Autopilot & InTune
· Windows 11
· Active Directory
· Barracuda - email filtering
· Ninja RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management)
· 3CX telephony system
· Foxit Reader and Editor
· Digital Dictation - including hardware such as speech mikes and transcription foot pedals.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in IT support?, · Have the opportunity to be part of a friendly team in a growing business and will gain real-world experience of IT support, software, and hardware development.
· Gain valuable insight into how IT affects every aspect of a business. Whilst we as a firm provide legal services, having an understanding of the law is not essential. Any legal aspects that are relevant to IT will be explained as and when required.
About you
You:
· Are ambitious and have a keen interest in IT.
· Have a passion for learning; trying new things is essential in this, and any other IT role.
· Are great at multi-tasking and can prioritise tasks.
· Are focused, methodical and organised.
· Are an excellent communicator. You will be supporting colleagues from other departments as well as communicating with external suppliers.
· Are a team player, liaising with the current IT team.
· GCSEs (or equivalent); English and Maths preferred.
· Have a valid and full driving license and own transport.
