Job description
We're looking for a strong writer with an understanding of e-commerce, digital user experience, and on-page optimisation. You'll be responsible for creating and editing website copy, improving product listings, and ensuring our online presence is both polished and performance-driven.
What You'll Be Doing
- Uploading new products to our website, ensuring listings are accurate, well-presented, and fully optimised
- Writing, editing, and refining website copy, including product descriptions, landing pages, banners, and category content
- Updating and managing product listings, ensuring all information is accurate and engaging to boost user engagement and conversion rates
- Optimising content for SEO, including metadata, keywords, and image tags
- Supporting content creation for marketing campaigns across email, web, and social platforms
- Assisting with basic website updates and general marketing admin tasks as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in Social media marketing?, The British Ironwork Centre is seeking a talented, detail-driven Copywriter & Website Administrator to elevate and maintain our e-commerce websites., * Experience with platforms such as Magento 2 or Shopify is highly desirable.
- Experience writing digital or e-commerce copy (product descriptions, web pages, marketing content)
- Understanding of SEO best practices and on-page optimisation
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, Search Console, and similar tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp is a bonus
