Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Apex Resources are on the lookout for a Software Engineer developing flight control systems for next-generation unmanned aircraft. You'll design and implement safety-critical embedded software, working at the intersection of hardware integration and real-time systems development.

What you'll do:

• Architect and develop embedded software for flight control applications
• Design, test, and verify safety-critical systems
• Translate hardware capabilities into robust software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration

Do you have experience in Debugging?, * 5+ years embedded systems development experience (preferably real-time or safety-critical)

• Strong C/C++ skills and microcontroller/RTOS knowledge
• Proven testing, debugging, and verification experience
• Security clearance eligible (5+ years UK residency)

Bonus: Avionics, flight control, aerospace, or defence sector background. DO-178C certification knowledge.
