Introduction As a Senior eCommerce Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Straumann Group's global digital commerce operations as we continue transforming our ecosystem through a modern headless architecture. You will partner closely with markets worldwide to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, accurate product and content management, and the successful rollout of new digital capabilities. In this highly collaborative role, you will work alongside Global Marketing, Regional and Country teams, Product Managers, and Technology Application Owners to help accelerate digital adoption and elevate the customer experience across our eCommerce channels. Your Role Global Operational Support
- Support markets with daily content updates, including banners, pages, translations, and campaign setup in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Onboard and train countries on operational processes and the new AEM storefront.
- Serve as the central point of contact for operational questions across regions.
Product & Catalog Management
- Partner with Product Managers to maintain accurate product data and catalog structure across markets.
- Coordinate product launches and ensure timely readiness within the eCommerce platform.
Issue Triage & Continuous Improvement
- Identify, categorize, and triage operational issues with BAO and TAO teams.
- Escalate recurring requests to roadmap owners to inform improvements.
- Contribute to smooth deployments of new features and enhancements.
Analytics, QA & UAT
- Extract insights from analytics tools to support operational decisions.
- Perform QA and support User Acceptance Testing for new releases and market rollouts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Must-Have
- 5+ years in eCommerce operations or digital commerce roles.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce processes, catalog management, and content operations.
- Experience with:
- SAP Commerce (Backoffice, Product/Catalog modules)
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- PIM systems
- Ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Hotjar or similar)
- Agile methodology
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities with great attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in global environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are beneficial).
- Familiarity with product data enrichment and eCommerce search engines is an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Background in medical devices, healthcare, or B2B eCommerce.
- Certifications related to SAP Commerce, AEM, analytics, or related fields.
