Job description
As a Data Scientist at ThreatFabric, you will play a critical role in developing our next-generation Behavior Biometrics AI system to strengthen our fraud detection platform. You will work with real-world data from major financial institutions, enabling you to experiment, prototype, and deliver high-impact AI solutions for mobile and web environments.
You will work closely with engineers, pilot customers, and an experienced professor in the field to design, experiment, build, and deploy models that enhance our overall risk scoring capabilities.
Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing components of the Behavior Biometrics solution.
- Researching and experimenting with AI technologies, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Building prototypes in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Developing, training, and deploying models into production environments.
- Validating models with pilot customers to ensure real-world efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration and adoption.
- Staying up to date with developments in AI, machine learning, and behavioral biometrics.
- Documenting model behavior, decisions, and interaction within the broader fraud detection ecosystem.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying areas to enhance model performance, reliability, and accuracy., Continuous Improvement
- Continuously explores opportunities to enhance model performance.
- Shares knowledge through documentation, mentoring, and internal knowledge sessions.
- Promotes AI best practices and technical excellence.

Requirements
Do you have a Master's degree?, Technical Skills
- Proficiency with PySpark (MUST).
- Strong experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, Polars, scikit-learn, Numpy, TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch.
- Experience working with Databricks, Azure, and AWS.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Experience working with real-world data in complex, data-driven environments.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Start-up or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
