Job description
You will work with market leading technologies and span user, technical and business operations to build solutions that meet user needs, deliver business impact and benefit society., * Experience delivering in the UK public sector including working to GDS standards and passing Service Standard Assessments
- Support the end-to-end design of new digital products and services
- Create high-quality, compelling design concepts and artefacts such as personas, service maps and wireframes.
- Lead on design workshops and design sprints with the team, senior stakeholders and users
- Work with user researchers as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create designs based on research that meet user need
- Rapidly design and test digital prototypes with users
- Train and mentor other designers
Requirements
- You have experience delivering in the UK public sector including using the design system, working to GDS standards and passing Service Standard Assessments
- You have strong experience in user-centred design, from concept to delivery
- You are experienced in rapid paper and digital prototyping, work closely with developers and understand security, accessibility, version control and hosting.
- You work in agile, multi-disciplinary delivery teams and have experience delivering new services as part of large and complex transformation projects
Desirable:
- You are proficient in the use of interaction design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch and Figma
- It's desirable but not essential if you can prototype in code to create dynamic prototypes using HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience in consulting roles is desirable but not essential
- You have strong experience in user-centred design, from concept to delivery
- You are experienced in rapid paper and digital prototyping, work closely with developers and understand security, accessibility, version control and hosting.
- You work in agile, multi-disciplinary delivery teams and have experience delivering new services as part of large and complex transformation projects
