Description

The perfect candidate has extensive hands-on experience in managing and operating Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, specifically Palo Alto Enterprise DLP and Microsoft Purview. They have a proven track record of working with Palo Alto Enterprise DLP to monitor, analyze, and respond to data loss incidents across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. The candidate should be proficient in configuring and maintaining Palo Alto Enterprise DLP policies, optimizing its operational performance, and leveraging its advanced capabilities to prevent data exfiltration and ensure sensitive data protection.

Additionally, the candidate must have operational experience with Microsoft Purview, including monitoring alerts, managing data classification, and ensuring the effective application of DLP policies within Microsoft 365 and cloud environments. They should demonstrate expertise in handling DLP alerts, conducting incident investigations, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple operational tasks while ensuring the smooth functioning of Palo Alto Enterprise DLP and Microsoft Purview systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Palo Alto Enterprise DLP and Microsoft Purview systems.

Monitor and respond to DLP alerts, investigate incidents, and mitigate risks.

Configure, fine-tune, and optimize DLP policies to reduce false positives and improve rule accuracy.

Perform system checks, troubleshooting, and ensures tool reliability and performance.

Classify and protect sensitive data using Microsoft Purview.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce DLP measures across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.

Generate incident reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Continuously review and refine DLP rules to align with evolving business needs and data patterns.

Stay updated on new features and best practices for DLP tools.

Must haves:

3 years of experience in a similar role or related to DLP operations

Prior DLP operations experience

experience with Palo Alto Enterprise DLP and Microsoft Purview or similar systems

experience with Microsoft Defender XDR

Knowledge in managing data classification

experience with Splunk
