DevOps/DevSecOps Manager | AI Start-up | 9-Month fixed-term Contract Join a European deep-tech leader in quantum and AI. Key Responsibilities Security Leadership: Define and lead DevOps/DevSecOps strategy and practices across the organisation. Mentor engineers and embed Cybersecurity best practices into the development and operations workflows. Automation & Deployment: Design, implement, and automate security controls and tooling ( SAST, DAST, SIEM ) within CI/CD pipelines. Cloud Architecture & Hardening: Design and build highly secure, resilient solutions with a strong focus on AWS/Azure Security and
Requirements
Network services (e.g., AWS Guard Duty, IAM policies, VPC Flow Logs). Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive secure deployment, scaling, and configuration management using Terraform. Client Delivery: Help deploy and secure our cutting-edge software stack directly onto Fortune 500 client servers. Incident Response: Manage and execute Cybersecurity Incident Response protocols and maintain cryptographic controls. We Are Looking For Experience: 3+ years as a DevSecOps Engineer with significant work history in Cybersecurity and Software Engineering. Cloud Security Expertise: Strong competence in AWS and/or Azure Network Architecture and deep experience with native security services. Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security) are highly valued. Security Tooling: Proven competence with a range of cybersecurity tools and practices (SAST, DAST, SIEM, penetration testing, SSO). IaC: Expert competence with Terraform. Scripting: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, Go). Communication: Superb communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset. Bonus Points Expertise in Kubernetes Security (CKS certified candidates prioritised) and related tooling (Helm, ArgoCD). High competence with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Experience designing Infrastructure for MLOps and data analytics solutions. Experience with microservices, service meshes (Istio), and SaaS deployment.
