Backend Developer (Java)

The role will be part of the Carrier Products Team in Product development and will be based in Sant Cugat, Spain., * Participate in several phases of the project, from technical analysis to release into production

• Design, operate and maintain new and current solutions in an Agile environment to continuously deliver value to customers
• Drive software quality, security and performance through unit, functional and performance tests
• Support continuous improvements of the team and the development environment

• Strong knowledge & experience of at least 3 years in Java and Spring Framework
• Fluent Spanish & English
• Experience with dependency management tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Experience developing REST APIs
• A proactive person eager to learn and grow in an international environment
• Commitment to code and product quality
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean code and unit testing
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with relational databases

Nice to have

• Jenkins, Gradle expertise
• Experience/certification on the AWS platform and integrations
• Experience with non-relational databases
• Experience with application servers like JBoss/WildFly/Spring Boot
