DESARROLLADOR R&D PRODUCTION SOFTWARE EQUIPO KMS

At Giesecke+Devrient, a global leader in SmartCards and Secure Payment Elements, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our R&D Production Software Department in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).In this team, we develop internal software applications for the production of cards - primarily credit cards and SIM cards - using Microsoft Visual Studio and mainly the C# programming language. Your work will help streamline production processes, optimize workflows, and support our R&D and industrialization efforts.You will join a collaborative and innovative environment where your contributions directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and quality of the products used by millions of people worldwide. Main Responsibilities:

• Development of new applications or improvements to enhance software functionality, prevent or resolve issues.
• Programming and validation, following the company's Quality and Security procedures.
• Preparation of user manuals and development documentation.
• User training and handling of second-level incidents.

• Degree in Telecommunications or Computer Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
• Solid knowledge of OOP and programming languages in Visual C# and .NET Framework.
• Desirable already experience working as developer minimal of 2 years.
• Additional most valuable interesting skills: experience in a similar role, knowledge of Microsoft platforms: Visual Studio, .NET (WCF, WPF), Blazor, Databases (as f.i. MS SQL Server), cryptography, and experience in developing device control applications..
• Minimum English a proved level B2: able to read documentation, write emails, understand presentations, explain technical topics, attend conferences, and provide comments and explanations. A test will be conducted during the interview.
