DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared

We require a Senior DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) for our Government client to be part of their Cyber team where you will be responsible for revising and improving the infrastructure as code which supports the Cyber teams work.

The team use a number of services deployed in AWS, some of which are shared with other teams. Infrastructure has been deployed incrementally as needed, using terraform, whereas the majority of their cyber unit's infrastructure is provisioned with the AWS Python CDK (Cloud Development Kit).

Duties include:

As the Senior DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) you will be responsible for transitioning their Cyber centers IAC to Python CDK, making re-use of existing code where possible.

Also improving and abstracting shared code as required to accommodate their Cyber center infrastructure

To identify and implement improvements to security, availability and resilience

Decommissioning infrastructure and applications deployed for evaluation purposes and integrate their Cyber center services with wider corporate services and those of partner organisations.

As the Senior DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) you will possess expert level skills in the following:

You will possess expert level knowledge of AWS infrastructure and using infrastructure as code.

With the AWS infrastructure, you will need to work with it using Python CDK and Terraform - this is essential
