We are seeking a highly experienced Technical SAP Finance Implementation Project Manager with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP Treasury, and SAP BTP. This is a hands-on delivery role, not a generic PMO position-and requires strong technical understanding, leadership capability, and experience managing complex, multi-team SAP programs.
The ideal candidate has over ten years of project management experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives, combined with ten years of technical exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance, FICO, and Treasury (5-10 years specifically in Treasury). Additional knowledge across Cash & Banking, Payments, Invoice-to-Cash, and P2P is advantageous. A minimum of four years of practical SAP BTP experience (including CAP, RAP, Fiori, and Integration Suite) is required. The role also demands the ability to work effectively across EMEA time zones and partially support EST hours. Certifications such as Six Sigma, Process Excellence, PMP, or FPX are preferred.
This position requires strong understanding of cutover planning, the ability to guide execution activities, and the capability to orchestrate and mobilize new teams, particularly for SAP BTP workstreams. Candidates must be comfortable coordinating independently across teams and vendors, tracking build and test progress through a working knowledge of ABAP and development life cycles, and ensuring environment readiness across a large-scale program landscape. Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Planview, and MS Project is essential, as is experience leading teams, delivering complex programs, and driving structured project execution.
Key strengths for this role include mastery of end-to-end solution delivery for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Treasury, along with demonstrated experience designing and implementing SAP BTP-based extensions and integrations. The candidate should be well-versed in governance processes, including Design Reviews and Change Control Boards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards throughout solution delivery.
Success in this position requires excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the capacity to collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels. The role involves managing change in ambiguous environments, leading global and multicultural teams, prioritizing critical deliverables, and navigating complex or high-pressure situations with clarity and structure. Regular reporting, including dashboards and status updates, to both IT and business leadership is expected. The candidate must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, and able to foster mutual understanding even when addressing conflicting viewpoints.
