VMware Platform Engineer

6 Month Contract outside of IR35 on a Hybrid basis with offices in London.

• Proven hands on experience delivering secure, multi tenant VMware and NSX T hosting platforms, including Windows Server builds, micro segmentation policy design, and NSX T Firewall management.

• Strong background integrating VMware environments with AD, PKI, iSCSI block storage, modern backup tooling, and resilience patterns across compute, network and storage layers.

• Solid understanding of IP, DNS, routing, segmentation and load balancing concepts, with practical experience configuring NSX T, virtual networking, and platform automation in enterprise environments.

• Familiar with vRealize, monitoring suites, HPE compute and storage stacks, and L2, L3 and BGP configurations, with the ability to take hosting platforms through full service transition.

• Effective communicator able to produce clear technical documentation, work within ITIL frameworks, manage work through Jira, and present complex infrastructure topics to both technical and non technical audiences.
