Job description

An opportunity as a Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Tech Lead (d / f / m) in the PSL IM Integration & Digital Technologies has arisen within Airbus Helicopters. In this role you will work closely with the RPA developers and the functional team in order to guide the development of automation solutions translating functional specifications into technical and ensure coding and development standards are followed. The Airbus Helicopters Group embraces the challenges of digitalization. Today the Information Management (IM) directorate is contributing to its transformation which is one of the key company objectives. Within the IM Digital Platforms domain you belong to the multifunctional team of the IM Integration & Digital Technologies.

IM Integration & Digital Technologies actively contribute to the digitalization of our business and are operating a Robotics Process Automation platform (RPA) based on the UIPath tool suite. The platform is used to automate business processes across all domains and functions within the company and becoming more and more a critical part of our IM infrastructure. What are your main tasks & accountabilities

  • Provide expertise on the RPA platform to the Business Analysts during the specification phase for new robots
  • Review the feasibility and define the complexity of new developments
  • Define technical standards and guidelines for the development team and ensure they are followed
  • Validate functional specifications and transform them into technical specifications
  • Provide support to the developers for any technical question
  • Support the RPA Product Manager for technical questions related to the overall automation platform architecture
  • Act as focal point for any technical questions arising in front of the provider
  • Actively contribute to the technical definition of the platform working closely with the Airbus RPA CoE

Requirements

  • Masters degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
  • Strong general IT background
  • Team player with a proactive can-do attitude and experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders
  • A passion for creatively solving problems and building new solutions
  • Experience in the domain of RPA development
  • Proven experience with UI-Path products
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with Scrum and SAFe (plus)
