Job description
- Recording, data processing, analysis, database management, further development, and visualization of master and geospatial data for our HENKEL headquarters site in Düsseldorf-Holthausen and beyond
- Planning and execution of IT projects in the field of geoinformatics and CAFM
- Management of service providers and quality assurance for data and processes
- Technical and strategic coordination and implementation of the conceptual further development of the geodata infrastructure, in alignment with the site operator, central functions, and suppliers
- Evaluation of solution alternatives when introducing new technologies and automated digital processes (with and without AI)
- Ensuring the continued development of specialized information technology, databases, and the digitalization or optimization of existing work processes
Requirements
- Degree in geoinformatics, business informatics, or comparable study programs with a strong IT focus
- Solid knowledge in (geo)database management; practical experience with Oracle databases, APEX, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Google) is desirable
- Good knowledge in building, maintaining, and working with databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL) as well as in the interaction of geodata infrastructures
- Experience in software and license administration, project management, and implementation of IT systems
- Strong quality orientation, analytical thinking skills, and quick comprehension
- Good knowledge in application management, SQL programming, Power BI
- Fluency in German and English
